Peterborough Regional Hospital ICU Night-Shfit
Detail:
The ICU resident on-call provides medical coverage for the ICU from 1800-0800. This includes medical coverage for patients admitted to the ICU, consultation/admission for deteriorating inpatients, the emergency department, post-operative patients. This shift includes code blue coverage from 24:00-07:30. PRHC also has a funded Critical Care Response Team (CCRT).
PRHC is a regional hospital that provides ICU-level support for smaller regional centres and occasionally accepts patients from these centres in transfer.
