This is an excellent opportunity for PGY4/5 FRCPC EM Residents to prepare for their transition to practice! The Owen Sound hospital is a Level 2 regional referral centre, and the largest of our 6 Hospital sites which are located in Lion’s Head, Markdale, Meaford, Southampton and Wiarton. With ED approximately 33000 annual visits, double coverage shifts, 24-hour labs, excellent specialty back-up, and comprehensive diagnostic imaging (CT, MRI, interventional radiology), our modern facilities are exceptionally well equipped. We are the regional pediatric and psychiatric facility with the regional ICU on site.

Supervision:
On-site or phone back up 24/7 with ED physicians.
A staff ED physician will be MRP for each of your patients.

Min Requirement:
PGY4/5 currently enrolled in an FRCPC EM Program.
ACLS/ATLS/PALS

Remuneration:
AFA rates.
Accommodations and roundtrip mileage covered.
